Cool down this summer with the ultimate blueberry lemonade! Â Homemade blueberry syrup mixed with refreshing lemonade, topped off with some bubbly club soda!
Lemonade is super refreshing, and even more so when it’s cool, thirst-quenching blueberry lemonade! Â Impress your guests or family with this easy to make drink!
I hope you guys aren’t sick of refreshing summer drink recipes… because this one is one of my favorites! Â My daughter affectionately calls this the “pink drink” lol. Â It’s cool, refreshing, bubbly, and definitely guaranteed to quench your thirst.
I love the sweet homemade blueberry simple syrup (plus the fun pink/purple color it gives the drink), mixed with the tangy tartness of the lemonade, and the bubbly fizz from the club soda… it’s the perfect combination!
This blueberry lemonade is so perfect for summer entertaining! Â Imagine you and your guests, sitting and soaking up the sun while holding an ice cold glass of this lemonade.
Now you can serve this blueberry lemonade two ways. Â You can pour the blueberry simple syrup into the lemonade pitcher and mix it all together. Â Then just pour into individual serving glasses and garnish with a few blueberries, slices of lemon and sprig of mint.
Or, you could serve it like I did…
Just add some ice to a glass, pour a bit of the blueberry simple syrup over the ice, add blueberries, then slowly pour in lemonade and top with a splash of club soda. Â Garnish and enjoy!
Either way you’ll end up with a beautiful drink that tastes every bit as amazing as it looks!
If you’re looking for more great summer drinks… check out my Fizzy Pineapple Punch, Lemon and Rosemary Sweet Tea, or Twizzlers Strawberry Lemonade!
I hope you guys give this lemonade a try… it actually uses a similar method to make the simple syrup as the twizzlers strawberry lemonade. Â Super easy, yet super delicious!

Hi this looks delicious. I plan on making this for a baby shower. I have about 15 people coming should I do the recipe x6?? Also, what could I add to this to make it alcoholic??
The Chunky Chef says
Hi Carrie 🙂 As written, this recipe makes about 8-9 cups. You could add some vodka to this, the amount is totally up to you and your guests, since it wouldn’t add any flavor, just the boozy kick 🙂 For 15 people, I’d plan on people having at least 2 drinks, so that’s 30 servings. I would 4x-6x the recipe just to be safe.
Julia says
Did I miss something? Did you buy pink lemonade or how did you make it pink?
The Chunky Chef says
Hi Julia, I explained in the post itself that the blueberry syrup is what makes the drink have the pink color (purple syrup mixed with lemonade is what makes it pink instead of purple).

Thank you for sharing. This looks amazing.

I’d love to make this for a baby shower. How many recipes should I make to fill a 2-3 gallon drink dispenser?
The Chunky Chef says
Hi Jessica 🙂 I would double this recipe to make about a gallon. So for a 2-3 gallon jug, I’d 4-6x the recipe.

Thank you! Are frozen blueberries going to change the taste of the finished product too much if I use them for the syrup?
The Chunky Chef says
It shouldn’t 🙂 Frozen berries are great substitute in the off-season months!

I would have never thought to add fizzy water to my lemonade or add blueberries (I’ve had strawberry and rasberry before). Yummy idea! Is it ok I added this to my Foodie Friday Roundup: Delicious Lemonades? It’s set to go live Friday morning. Thanks!!!
